Start by defining one revenue workflow with clear boundaries, such as outbound prospecting or speed-to-lead phone follow-up. Connect only the CRM, communication channels, and data sources required for that workflow, then specify targeting and handoff rules. Run a controlled pilot with a limited audience before allowing the agent to contact a large prospect list. Review message quality, qualification behavior, opt-out handling, and CRM updates. Keep human escalation paths available for conversations involving pricing commitments, complaints, sensitive information, or unusual requests.

For a first evaluation, keep the scope small enough that you can compare the AI-assisted result with a known baseline. Record the configuration, model or workflow choices that produced the result so successful tests can be reproduced. If the product connects to external systems or private data, grant the minimum permissions required and review the provider's current security and data-handling documentation before expanding access.
