Connect CodeRabbit to the source-control organization and select the repositories that should be reviewed. Open or update a pull request as usual; CodeRabbit analyzes the change and posts review feedback in the pull-request workflow. Configure repository-level instructions and review preferences so comments reflect the team's conventions. Engineers should still evaluate findings, run tests, and apply normal security and approval controls before merging changes, especially when suggested fixes touch sensitive or high-impact code.

For a first evaluation, keep the scope small enough that you can compare the AI-assisted result with a known baseline. Record the configuration, model or workflow choices that produced the result so successful tests can be reproduced. If the product connects to external systems or private data, grant the minimum permissions required and review the provider's current security and data-handling documentation before expanding access.
