Set up Heidi according to the clinic's privacy and consent requirements, then start it for an eligible consultation. Speak naturally during the encounter and use the generated note as a draft after the visit. Review every clinically important detail, including medication names, doses, diagnoses, examination findings, and follow-up plans. Adjust the note template when the default structure does not match the specialty or organization. Do not send letters or finalize records until a clinician has reviewed them, and use only approved workflows for patient information.

For a first evaluation, keep the scope small enough that you can compare the AI-assisted result with a known baseline. Record the configuration, model or workflow choices that produced the result so successful tests can be reproduced. If the product connects to external systems or private data, grant the minimum permissions required and review the provider's current security and data-handling documentation before expanding access.
