How to Use Upwork MCP Server

Open the MCP or connector settings in an AI client that supports remote servers and OAuth authentication. Add a connection named Upwork with the server URL https://mcp.upwork.com/mcp. Complete the browser authorization using the intended Upwork account. Enable the connection in your conversation and begin with a focused talent search or job search. Review proposed changes before confirming publication, messages, or proposals. Complete binding financial actions through Upwork when prompted. Revoke access through Upwork account settings when the integration is no longer needed. The connector is free; ordinary marketplace fees and proposal Connects still apply. No local server installation or API key is required.
